So its been a little quiet on the blog front for a while. In fact, my blog has been pretty much abandoned for quite some time. So what have I been doing in all that time? working, getting married, being pregnant and for the last six months, being a mum. But not to worry, this will not be turning into yet another mummy blog. I promise!
So with an interest in easing myself back into the blogging thing and after some much needed window shopping inspiration here is another installment of ‘These are a few of my favourite shops…’.
Oh how I love homewares! If only I had a home of my own to decorate and endless cash. Melbourne Potter Shelley Panton produces her own wares on site and her shop features some beautiful and carefully selected art and decor. It also features just the right amount of quirky goods too.
If you love a bit of 70’s peacock cane furniture and wild wallpaper then you will adore this shop. Pretty much everything here is out of my price range (including the $90 candles), but a girl can dream right? This is the place to go for some serious redecorating inspiration and they also have a great design blog over on their website.
This workspace, store and gallery is a hidden gem. Supporting recently arrived refugees and migrants, it features a unique selection of clothing and art and is run by a dedicated team of volunteers in partnership with the City of Port Philip.
